May 2015

Teleque has been really well received and utilised at Birmingham International. From a Customer Experience and Safety point of view we are now able to provide a much enhanced level of service, allowing us to provide timely and tailored announcements to customers. The Teleque equipment allows us to manage our platforms much more efficiently which is great benefit for customer experience but equally has seen performance improve as a result.

Birmingham International is a location where effective crowd control is necessary on a regular basis due to our close proximity to the Genting Arena and the roll out of equipment within the concourse area has meant that we are able to manage and communicate with large crowds rapidly and directly.

“Once we’d seen the kit in action, Teleque was our natural choice. The system became essential when managing crowds at some of our busiest stations and helped us deliver an enhanced customer experience whilst at the same time, maintaining and improving performance. The benefit of delivering customer communications on the move is a fantastic resource for a real-time railway.”

Paul Spencer, Station Delivery Manager for Northern Rail

“The Teleque system works really well over busy periods at Birmingham New Street station. Our staff have quickly gotten used to them, and all in all we’re very impressed."

Andy Knowles, Birmingham New Street Station

“At Huddersfield, we’ve been using the Teleque system to promote both safety and customer service. Our platform team has been able to challenge those who sometimes need a reminder about their our personal safety, such as standing behind the yellow line, as well as informing customer during disruption situations about train departures and updates. The system is easy to use and helps us as a company to offer a better service to our customers.”
