Teleque has been really well received and utilised at Birmingham International. From a Customer Experience and Safety point of view we are now able to provide a much enhanced level of service, allowing us to provide timely and tailored announcements to customers. A successful trial of the T101 system by East Coast at Peterborough has led to the system being integrated into day-to-day operations. In addition, East Coast is installing the system at Doncaster.
First Transpennine Express
Staff at Manchester Airport station, operated by First Transpennine Express, have been using the T101 system for remote announcing over the last few months. The system is reported to have become ‘part and parcel’ of the equipment that platform staff use, and FTE have gone on to install the equipment in Huddersfield.
London Overground has entered its third phase of rolling out the T101 system across its network of stations, which has made a noticeable difference to its public address operations.
Birmingham New Street
Birmingham New Street, working in conjunction with Atkins, have installed the T101system as part of the major station upgrades which are set to transform the station.
In a busy week at the end of June, Teleque, with an installed team from Lynbrook Services, completed five T101 installations in the South East of England for First Great Western.
The systems will be a useful tool when dealing with the increased passenger numbers expected during Olympics.
Having undergone successful trails at Paddington Station in conjunction with Ateis UK and their installation partners. Teleque are proud to announce the completed installation of two platform based T101 radio communicators and associated equipment, including active antennas and IP65 platform enclosure.
